Conway Bridal Show Tips
HAVE A PLAN
As you enter the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Bridal Show you will get a map of vendors. Make a note of the vendors that are “must-visits” for you, but don’t skip any. Many have surprises you wouldn’t have expected, and you never know whose services or products you may love!
REGISTER FOR PRIZES
When you enter, each bride and groom will get the chance to register for prizes. Not only are we giving away a honeymoon cruise from Southwest Airlines and Sue Smith Travel, but many of our vendors give away prizes during the fair. This is one of the best parts of the event – getting a chance to win gifts and services for your wedding … for free!!! We will announce the winner over the loud speaker and you must be present to win.
DRESS ACCORDINGLY
Dress to move and have fun. Thousands of soon-to-be brides attend this annual event, so you’ll want to wear comfortable shoes to keep up with the crowds.
DRINK PLENTY OF WATER
Staying hydrated is key to maintaining the energy to visit all the vendors. We have an area set aside for tired brides or grooms to get something to eat or drink – located to the right of stage. Here you can sit, relax and take in all that you have learned during your visits to all the vendors.
PACE YOURSELF
At the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Bridal Show, we have hundreds of vendor booths to visit, so take your time. The fair lasts from 1 to 5:30 p.m, so there’s plenty of time to research, ask questions and meet many bridal professionals.
GET A SEAT
The fashion show is the most popular attraction. It’s not unusual to see standing-room only around the stage, so be sure to grab a seat early if you’d like time to rest. The show begins at 4 p.m.
DON’T LEAVE EARLY
Vendors will be giving away prizes all day long, but you must be present to win. The last giveaway is at 5 p.m. and will be the grand prize giveaway.
