Huge turnout at the 2010 Bridal Show

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Bridal Show was a huge success for both brides-to-be and businesses. The mix of entertainment, prizes, contests, businesses and the fashion show attracted 3,000 to the event. The Nearly Newlywed Game peeked into the lives of three engaged couples to reveal how much members of each couple knew about one another. Bobbi Love, a school teacher, and Bobby Barrett, an audit manager, rose above the others by answering most of the questions correctly and winning a honeymoon night’s stay at the Peabody Hotel in Little Rock. The Cake Dive brought out the masses to cheer on three brides-to-be as they dove into wedding cakes to find a wedding ring. The winner received a wedding cake for 100 guests from The Blue Cake Co. The winners of the grand prize drawing worth $5,000 were Kishea Thompson and Preston Forrest, who had become engaged over the Christmas holiday.
